RECKON integrates with Hornady 4DOF, allowing you to build your ballistic profile in the Hornady app and send it directly to your watch.
The process has two parts:
Hornady 4DOF → Bridger app → RECKON
Before you start, make sure:
- The Hornady app and Bridger app are installed on the same phone
- Your RECKON is paired with the Bridger app
1. Set up your gun profile in Hornady 4DOF
Open the Hornady app and navigate to the 4DOF section.
Create or select your gun profile, choose your bullet, and enter the appropriate information for your setup. Save your profile when you're finished.
2. Set your ballistic table
With your gun profile selected, tap the table/chart icon in the bottom-right corner.
Set:
- Your maximum yardage
- Your desired yardage intervals
These settings determine the ballistic data that will be sent to your RECKON.
3. Share your profile to the Bridger app
Tap the ’Bridger’ icon in the lower right corner
Select the slot you wish to have this weapon sent to in the app and on the watch.
That will take you to the Bridger App and sync your data from Hornady to the Bridger app.
4. Sync your RECKON
Once the Hornady data has finished syncing into the Bridger app, return to the Home screen.
Tap Sync Watch in the top-right corner.
This sends your Hornady 4DOF ballistic data from the Bridger app to your RECKON.
Once the sync is complete, your ballistic data is ready to use on your watch.
Not seeing your Hornady data on your RECKON?
First, make sure you've completed both sync steps:
1. Share from Hornady 4DOF → Bridger app
2. Tap Sync Watch in the Bridger app → RECKON
If your data still isn't appearing:
- Confirm your RECKON is connected to the Bridger app
- Reopen the Bridger app and allow the Hornady import to finish
- Tap Sync Watch again on the home screen of your Bridger App
