Notification Settings
Your RECKON watch gives you several ways to customize how notifications are delivered. At this time, notification preferences are controlled by multiple settings throughout the watch. If your notifications aren't behaving as expected, we recommend checking each of the settings below, as one setting may be overriding another.
1. Check Sound & Vibration Settings
From your watch:
All Settings → System → Sound & Vibration
Review the following options:
- Audio Tones – Controls audible notification sounds.
- Haptics – Controls haptic feedback throughout the watch.
- Key Tones – Enables or disables button press sounds.
- Vibration – Enables or disables vibration.
2. Check Phone Notification Settings
From your watch:
All Settings → Notifications → Phone
You can configure notification behavior separately for:
Text Messages
Choose one of the following:
- Vibrate
- Sound
- Vibrate & Sound
App Notifications
Choose one of the following:
- Vibrate
- Sound
- Vibrate & Sound
Known Issue
3. Check the Control Panel
Open the Control Panel on your watch and verify that these quick settings are enabled:
- Sound
- Vibration
If either of these tiles has been turned off, notifications may not alert you as expected even if your notification settings are configured correctly.
Not Receiving and Notifications?
Check the per-device notification toggle in iPhone Bluetooth settings. This is different from the notification permissions in the Bridger app.
- Open Settings > Bluetooth on your iPhone
- Find "Bridger Watch" (or "RECKON") in the list and tap the (i) info button next to it
- Scroll down and look for "Share System Notifications" — this toggle must be ON
- If it's off, toggle it off and back on
