First — if you haven’t already, download the app:
Follow the prompts to create your account:
- Input your email
- Select your preferred login method - apple, gmail, phone number, or email
- Follow prompts to authenticate your account and log in
Before you power on your watch:
For a smoother setup, we recommend waiting until you’re near your preferred Wi-Fi network and have the password handy.
Getting your watch set up:
- Press and hold the upper right (Select) button for ~7 seconds to power on. If nothing happens, plug it into the charger to trigger startup
- Tap Continue
- When prompted to pair your phone, press the upper right button to confirm
- You’ll see a QR code on the watch - Important: This must be scanned from the Bridger Watch app (not your phone’s camera)
To scan the QR code:
- Open the Bridger Watch app
- Go to the Settings tab (bottom right)
- Tap “Pair Watch” → “Go to My Camera”
- Scan the QR code on your watch
- A number will appear on both your watch and phone — confirm they match and select “Yes, it matches”
- When prompted, allow Bluetooth pairing
- Allow notifications when prompted
You’re now paired.
Next, the app will prompt you to set up Wi-Fi — don’t skip this step.
- Select your network
- Enter your password and tap Connect
Note: If needed, you can turn Wi-Fi on from the watch control panel after pairing — your network info will already be saved - You will see that Wi-Fi will turn itself off. This is a battery saving feature.
From there, you’ll enter a few details (height, weight, DOB, wrist preference) to optimize your health metrics.
After pairing you will also want to check for software updates.
First connect to wifi:
- Access your control panel from the home screen by pressing the lower right button labeled 'back'
- Select the 'wifi' tile in the top right
- Toggle your wifi to on
- Select your saved network. It will indicate a green chain link when connected.
Then initiate a software update:
- Access your control panel from the home screen by pressing the lower right button labeled 'back'
- Scroll down to 'All Settings' and select
- Scroll to 'System' and select
- Scroll to 'Software update' and select
And that’s it — you’re up and running.
